EAA chapter 162 has been serving Nashville since 1966. We hold monthly meetings, generally at John Tune airport, either in the terminal building during cold weather, or Hangar 443 during warm weather months. Our programs include educational sessions on general piloting technique, aviation physiology and safety, as well as topics relevant to those who are building or interested in building their own aircraft.
The chapter has two EAA Technical Counselors (Dan Masys and Brian Sutherland) who are available to answer questions related to aircraft construction, and provide informal inspections of projects in progress. (Send email to request a Tech Counselor visit).
